Not everybody's cup of tea, but I prefer coffee anyway.

I did a Thing...

My last writing was a while back and it's been on my heart for quite some time to get back to it.  I'm not sure who this is supposed to reach, but I feel like I've been being pushed to share as we can all learn something from somebody.  We just have to be open to it.
The last few months have been a struggle to say the least.  My mother was discharged from the hospital, but my FIL passed away shortly after my last writing.  I miss him daily but believe that he is still with us as he walks with the good Lord above.  I have definitely been leaning more and more into my faith.  It weighed on my heart for a while that I should be baptized, so I finally took the plunge this past Sunday.  Afterward a kind man asked me if I felt any different.  To be honest, no not really.  I guess I am still searching for something, but God will provide in time what is needed.  I am in my Bible daily, learning, and helping others as best I can to learn as well.  I do not have all the answers but am in pursuit of whatever I can do to better myself as well as those around me.  Some days are better than others as I'm sure you can relate.  I have made a lot of changes over the last few months and still have more to come.  Every day I try to do something new and be productive with whatever is put on my heart and mind.  We are only here for a short while, so we have to make the most of it while we still have breath in our lungs.  Life gets busy and overwhelming, but we have to make the best of what we've been given.  My FIL always said, "It's always something" and boy was he right.  The devil attacks in so many different ways to divert your eyes from the heavens.  There are daily struggles from the outside world as well as inside of us.  The doubts and fears you have come from the devil himself.  Don't be tempted to listen to him.  God created us for greatness.  We all have a purpose we just need to tap into our God given talents and figure out what we are supposed to do with the short life we have.
