Not everybody's cup of tea, but I prefer coffee anyway.

Learning to Lean on My Faith

If the last few years have taught me anything, it would be that everything happens for a reason and what will be will be.  No matter what you do if it's Gods will, there's a plan in motion that will work out how it's supposed to.  Sometimes it just takes a little different route, and we have to have the patience to take the chances and make the choices that could change everything by just having faith and doing what you believe and hope to be the "right thing".  The journey to get where I am today has been a long one and I hope this will help somebody to cope with whatever they are dealing with as well.
Life has been extremely overwhelming at times, but somehow, I've always gotten through.  In the recent years due to life circumstances and a change of schooling for my child I've started to lean more on my faith and "riding the wave" as my husband says.  This life definitely has its ups and downs, but it is all meant to teach us something or help us teach something to someone.  We just have to listen which is so much easier said than done.
Most recently, I've been handling things best I can after my mother became a stroke survivor in December 2024.   She was in the ICU for three weeks including Christmas day.  She has been moved several times depending on her level of care needed.  She is still currently in the hospital but progressing a little every day.  Within the last couple of weeks, I have also visited a big-name cancer specialty center with my FIL just to be told there's nothing that can be done.  I have felt so deflated and helpless that all I can do is pray for the best outcome and guidance in helping make the best of every situation.
I have been building my faith only for a short while and sometimes it is hard to be patient and let Him handle things.  But ultimately that is what I try to do as all things are possible.
